INTRODUCTION the AT & T The PhoneWriter

Communication is sending and receiving information between two or more people.1Thanks to the invention of the phone, lack of communication between people that are not in the same place to a large extent has been corrected. The phone was first conceived in 1909 by Nikola Tesla as a concept. In 1971 and 1974 Theodore Paraskevakos received the first patents for smartphones. In 1994, BellSouth marketed a device called Simon Personal Communicator, the first commercial device to be referred to as a smartphone. The first was the AT & T The PhoneWriter produced by the company was used to identify the communicator.2A smartphone is a kind of integrated computer that is not associated with phones. It has features such as an operating system, internet browsing and running software applications.3The most important feature of smartphones is the image of the screen with the pixels.Pixels are the smallest items on the screen on the digital screen. The image on computer screen is built up from thousands or millions of pixels.Screen resolution is the visible detail of the screen. And it is related to the number of pixels in a single row on the horizontal axis and the vertical axis of these devices.

Simon (the first smartphone) had 160×293 pixel screen. However, Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a 3840 x 2160 pixels. In the process of decreasing the number of pixels, the resolution decreases and the image sharpness
decreases accordingly. And this makes it difficult to perceive colors and shapes.4

The screen resolution is being developed more and more every day and high resolution phones are being offered to the market.Resolution is classified according to pixel numbers.Smartphones use high-resolution screens. The first high resolution screen is HD resolution. HD means only 1280 x 720 pixel pixel measurement. The size of the feature on the display does not change the number of pixels but changes the density. This is inversely proportional to the size of the screen. Galaxy SII is the first phone with HD display. HD’s development is Full HD. The Full HD screen has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. This gives a clearer picture of HD. LG claims to have made the world’s first Full HD screen, but HTC was the first phone to have a Full HD screen called J Butterfly.56
Moreover, there are quarter HD screens. They have 960×540 pixels and this is a quarter of the number of pixels of Full HD screens. Samsung Galaxy Note 4,Google Nexus 6 and Vivo Xplay 3S have qHD.
After that, Quad HD screens came. These are called 2K resolution. The pixel size for QHD is 2560 x 1440 pixels. On this count, pictures can be more detailed and clearer. Galaxy S5 has LTE-A, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and HTC One E9+ QHD display technology.
The latest screen is the Ultra HD screen. Their resolution is 3.840×2.160 pixels. They contain four times the pixels of Full HD. 4K images are 4096×3112 pixels, but are considered to be one of the 4K formats due to the number of horizontal axis pixels. The Sony Xperia Z5 is the first smart phone to be produced with UHD.6
Resolution increases in image quality are not entirely advantageous. The biggest problem is with high-resolution phones with battery life. Increasing the number of pixels in the phone causes more processor needs.
This is actually a phone that runs slower, with a much shorter battery life. That is why 4K is constantly discussed.7
The screen resolution has gained a new dimension with the retina display developed by Apple. The principle of the RETINA screen is to increase the pixel density and to obtain a better image, depending on whether the human eye distinguishes the pixels or not. RETINA screens allow the screen image to be seen at the same angle .Resolution on the retina display is 326 pixels per inch. 89

Smartphone technology is growing everyday. The manufacturer is competing for the most demanding phone. In this respect, the attention of the consumer is the resolution and clarity of the screen. To provide better service to the users, the screen resolution is getting better every day with new smartphones. Trying to create the best quality images.QHD, FHD, QHD and UHD displays are the technology and additionally HD displays.
