·       Medication if any

The purpose of this study is
to evaluate the prevalence and correlates of insomnia using various
recognised sleep hygiene models and indices

In order to study numerous
variables such as depression and anxiety symptoms, worry, pre-sleep factors
disrupting sleep will be assessed as insomnia predictors.

The informants will be
given either paper or digital copies of the questionnaire to express his views
upon.Once ,the completed questionnaire is obtained from the informant,he will
be assessed for the grade of insomnia that he is suffering from.

This assessment will be
done by referring to various scales that are globally accredited such as

·       Insomnia Severity Index

·       Bergen insomnia scale

·       Regensburg insomnia scale

·       Athens insomnia scale scoring



Insomnia is a prevalent health complaint that is often difficult to
evaluate reliably.Although,with the use of standard models like

Insomnia Severity Index(ISI),Insomnia can be studied effectively allowing
us to obtain precise results and hence to plan the steps to

counter it equally.
