Drug liberalization relies on a new strategy in the war against drugs that is sweeping the globe. Drug liberalization is a process of lowering or eliminating the curtailment on drug use. Liberalization policies strongly aim to move towards responsible drug use and to reduce the medical, physical and psychological harm drug abuse. Variations of drug liberalization include: drug legalization, drug relegalization and drug decriminalization.
